LaCie LightScribe Labeler pour Mac

before 10.11.6 El Capitan it worked now it won't install the software -> "no Software found"

1.2.2 is available. Macupdate should keep a better track on the updates...

I've had nothing but trouble with my Lacie Firewire DVD Lightscribe© burner. I can't get the software to recognize or "see" the drive. I've tried cycling the power. I tried downloading the software updates from Lacie's website, but nothing so far. If I connect a WD Ext firewire HD into my Mac using the same cable and port, the computer recognizes it right away. If anyone has any ideas please respond. thanks.

I'm not sure why everyone is having so much trouble with the update. I downloaded it the other day, no problem. In addition, I love my lightscribe labeller. The only issue being speed and contrast. I look forward to updates as the technology is improved. Until then, I may purchase a few more drives so that I can burn and print multiple discs at one time. I'm glad that the update includes the ability to print on multiple discs.

I made the mistake of buying a LaCie lightscribe burner. Thought it would be a great idea, but the Mac version of the software is HORRIBLE. It's a quickie for the Mac crowd that doesn't have even half the features of the windows version. And it's clunky and unreliable. I've had it quit unexpectedly a few times, stupid errors for no good reason and have had to force quit a few times. It's really, truly awful and LaCie should be embarrased to offer this. Too bad that legit labelling software (discus is 100% better) can't be used with the burner. Mac users are stuck with this garbage. And if anyone is wondering, I'm running a newly-installed 10.4.6 on a G5 dual 2.7 gHz tower.
